At this point we have seen iPod docks fitted to just about everything under the sun, so it should come as no surprise that a company decided to develop a sink capable of playing tunes from your MP3 player. Fortunately for designer Jan Puylaert and the guys at WET, their X-Light Surround Basin should be considered as more than just a gimmick—it actually looks really cool with the transparent, light-diffusing acrylic polymer (PMMA) basin revealing the speaker system underneath. Throw some LEDs on this thing and it would be like a party in your bathroom.

Fractal 23 is a very creative piece of furniture designed by Takeshi Miyakawa. I must admit that I’ve never saw a piece of furniture like this before. The design, by Takeshi Miyakawa is made to make the maximum use of space and 23 different sizes of drawers certainly do that for you. Finally I don’t think that the Fractal 23 is a practical piece of furniture, rather an interesting piece of art that can make your friends say “Wooow“.

Comic Art Printed on Furniture

This piece of furniture designed by Giuseppe Canevese features the artwork of graphic artist Guido Crepax who was influential in the development of European comic art in the second half of the 20th century. His most famous storyline, featuring the character “Valentina“, was created in 1965. Printed on white polished MDF, these creations are certainly attention grabbing and conversation starters in any room and in any language. I’m pretty sure that those of you who loved comics when they were kids will absolutely love this piece of furniture.

Biblio by Antonio Lupi is a Corian Rectangular bathtub, complete with back rest and automatic drainage and combined bath spout and overflow, that incorporates a generous book-case for your bathroom reading. Personally I don’t think that keeping books in your bathroom is a good idea, but who knows maybe there are people who think this is useful. Now for those who love this idea, I think that this Clever Bath Organiser would be very useful for the Biblio Bathtub. The tub is made of resin, wood and it adorns a special price tag of approx. $17,300!

I’ve never thought that a pillow can be so tasty until I saw these delicious pillows from Bonjour Mon Coussin. Now these pillows might look very good and very tasty but I wouldn’t recommend something like this in any house because seeing these pillows over and over could make you want more and more sweets, and the final result might be quite unpleasant.
