Believe it or not, the concept here isn’t revolutionary at all, but Studio 5050 is revising the old huggable shirt idea by infusing an ultra-soft hoodie with a pattern made of “silver conductive fabric.” When two people wearing the embrace-me hoodies, um, embrace one another, energy is transferred and a pattern on the back lights up while a heartbeat sound is emitted. Quite frankly, we can’t imagine this not boosting the hugs-per-day in a typical relationship, but at $480 to $600 per pair, counseling may come out a bit cheaper in the end.

At this point we have seen iPod docks fitted to just about everything under the sun, so it should come as no surprise that a company decided to develop a sink capable of playing tunes from your MP3 player. Fortunately for designer Jan Puylaert and the guys at WET, their X-Light Surround Basin should be considered as more than just a gimmick—it actually looks really cool with the transparent, light-diffusing acrylic polymer (PMMA) basin revealing the speaker system underneath. Throw some LEDs on this thing and it would be like a party in your bathroom.

Even though her publicist has repeated lied denied it….
Lindsay Lohan’s famewhoring father, Michael, is confirming reports that his daughter is in a lesbian relationship with Samantha Ronson.
Poppa Lohan says their romance “is evident to anyone with half a brain.“
It was reported that Samantha, 30 kept in contact Lindsay when she spent a stint in rehab last year.
Lindsay and Ronson were recently seen making out in Cannes. The pair are reported to have moved in together and rumored to be engaged.
Still, Michael adds, “Just like the [topless] Marilyn Monroe spread, Linds is my daughter and there are just some things a father doesn’t want to see or hear.”
His daughter, 21, “is a big girl, and she can make her own life choices. Then it is between her and God.”
Hey, God loves lesbians….and so do we!

How will we play tennis in 2083? From the looks of things, Lacoste believes we will be in a virtual room with collapsible rackets and cool looking robotic suits. Although, I have to admit that the video after the break portrays it as more like a futuristic version of racquetball to me—but either way, it is a sport I could definitely get into.

Natalie Portman has been doing heavy flirting with ruffles this year at Cannes. And I’m doing a lot of waffling on whether I think they’re pretty and flirty, or kind of crazy. Don’t get me wrong, I love waffles. Just not mind waffles. So you, dear readers, need to put on your special baby-soft clicking glove of judgment and prepare to be the jury.

Created with lonely people in mind, Drew Burrows‘ INBED is an “infrared-sensitive” light projected virtual girlfriend. A sexy brunette, she’s got about three tricks up her sleeve—and she does all of them from a supine position.
Kiss her on the cheek when you slide into bed and she’ll bury her face in the pillow. Hmmm, that sounds wrong. She moves into a spoon position if you’re on your side, and snuggles up beside you when you’re on your back. Cute.
There are, however, two drawbacks to Drew’s invention, which he was showing off at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program Spring Show at Tisch School of the Arts: first, she’s only 2D, and second, she’s fully clothed. Some guys may want to wait for version 2.0.
